Last night I completed my first pass on packaging the latest HDHomeRun configuration utility (GUI now included). This was my first package using deb helper 7 (boy is it nice!). All of this work will be making its way into the Lucid release, but for the time being I have uploaded it to the Mythbuntu Testing PPA.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Mythbuntu Testing PPA, you can enable it one of two ways.
- Using the Mythbuntu Repos Package available here: http://www.mythbuntu.org/auto-builds
- By hand, information available here: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu/+archive/testing
You will have 2 choices to install, the GUI (hdhomerun-config-gui) or the classic command line utility (hdhomerun-config).
I have started a thread in the Mythbuntu forums for discussion/feedback, or you can hit me up by email.

Good to read the page shared here on the details over HDHomeRun and associated features. It will be helpful for all the beginners and to make a good start. I liked the post shared over here. Keep sharing more technical aspects .
